ACC is a heat exchanger that condenses low pressure (vacuum) steam exhausted from steam turbine
in electricity power station and similar facilities.
Producing ACC with associated equipments requires a specific engineering expertise.



ACC's strongest point is air cooling system which is no need for water.
This means that user can eliminate water usage, chose plant site flexibly and maintain easily.
The compactness of ACC designed by DTS Inc. provides some merits to both EPC contractors and end users.
Firstly, the compactness translates into savings of the initial capital cost and reducing the installation space.
Secondly, the operation cost is low because of a fewer number of fans and motors.



Multi-Row type Condenser
1. Finned tube type: Rounded fin type as G, L, Extruded fin
2. Merits and Demerits
     -Ineffective surface area at top position of fin
     -Flooding in reflux tube
     -Sub-cooled at bottom row at low ambient
     -Finning: Tension or Extruding
     -Staggered tube lay-out
     -Accumulation of non-condensable gases
     -Complex and difficult design
3. Application : Low capacity as incineration plant
4. Bare tube : Carbon steel / Stainless steel

Single-Row type Condenser
1. Finned tube type: Corrugated fin type
2. Merits and Demerits
     -Increased effective surface area
     -Elimination of flooding in reflux tube
     -Elimination of sub-cooling
     -Brazing: Less bond resistance
     -Less air side pressure drop (Low power consumption)
     -Avoid gas blanketing
     -Simplified design and analysis
3. Application : High capacity as big power plant
4. Bare tube : Aluminum coated / cladded carbon steel
